Change is constant. Life is constantly changing. We are constantly changing.
Because we are so comfortable with things remaining the same, and because we like to feel safe and secure at all times, we do our best to resist change, failing to realize that by resisting change we are in fact resisting life.
Life and all things we know changes. When that happens, if we’re too certain about the things we know, and if we cling too tightly to our ideas and the beliefs we have about who we are and how life should work, we risk hurting ourselves in ways we never knew were possible.
A man is born gentle and weak.
At his death he is hard and stiff.
Green plants are tender and filled with sap.
At their death they are withered and dry.
Therefore the stiff and unbending is the disciple of death.
The gentle and yielding is the disciple of life.
Thus an army without flexibility never wins a battle.
A tree that is unbending is easily broken.
The hard and strong will fall.
The soft and weak will overcome.
(Tao Te Ching – Chapter 76)
“God has to work in the soul in secret and in darkness because if we fully knew what was happening, and what Mystery, transformation, God and Grace will eventually ask of us, we would either try to take charge or stop the whole process.” John of the Cross
Dr. Wayne Dyer sums it up for us in 2 minutes –
Change Indicators
Here’s a list of 5 occasions God may be telling you that it is time to let go and move on… that it is time to change:
1. Your partner or confidant tells you it’s time change.
2. Your circle of influence (friends, family, mentor) is telling you to change.
3. You have lost the confidence in yourself or of the leadership.
4. You no longer have the passion it is you are involved with.
5. You lose your vision in a project.
Change is a good time for Spiritual Empowerment and to rejuvenate your Spark of Life!
