Reiki or ‘healing through-the-hands’ dates back thousands of years. Its origin can be traced back to ancient Tibet. Later this technique was rediscovered in the late 1800s and early 1900s by Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan. It is a natural healing technique where the passing of the universal energy flows through the practitioners’ hands to the patient’s bodily blockage area (an Energy Center or Chakras) in order to release the source of discomfort. The ‘Higher Self’ (the subconscious, only accessed through deep relaxation) of the patient (receiver of the energy) promotes health and well-being of the entire physical, emotional, and psychic body.
Reiki heals your body and your life with the power of universal (rei) life energy (ki). Mind Body & Soul.
“Reiki – the greatest secret in the science of energies, is wisdom and truth.” – Hawayo Takata
Reiki Healing
Each session increases your supply of life force energy. So helping you heal quickly.
Reiki promotes relaxation, makes you feel at peace, and reduces your stress.
You start moving toward your unique physical, mental, and spiritual balance.
Your body’s own healing mechanisms begin to function more effectively.
During the treatment, the patient feels relaxed and has warm energy surrounding the area of pain or discomfort. At times the client even falls asleep.
Distance Healing:
When the patient is in urgent need a Reiki Master can provide emergency healing from a distance. (i.e. become hospitalized, gets into an accident, travel abroad and something unfortunate occurs). This is termed ‘distant healing’. Personally, I have treated a few patients abroad while they were in emergency rooms with miraculous results! At worst, it can provide additional support for every patient in times of distress.
Reiki Healing for Animals:
Most animals, especially dogs, are very receptive to Reiki and respond more quickly to treatments than humans. Reiki can accelerate the healing process of animals and ease pain without causing stress or discomfort. I can come to a location most convenient for your animal and provide the service of healing for your pet. I prefer to offer this type of ‘house-call’ service as it is less distressing to the animals.
